Sebit, Michael K.

Son of Kalisto Ukelo Ngeta and Ado Aligadagada, Belanda Bor, Fujuga clan, from Kpaile, Michael K. Sebit was born about 1948. He was sent to Rome where he completed his theological studies with a degree in theology and was ordained in Peter’s Basilica by Pope Paul VI on January 6, 1973. Back in the Sudan, he worked in Raga and Tonj. He proved a qualified translator of the Scriptures into the Belanda language, translating the Gospel of Mark and the Acts of the Apostles. He died in Tonj on December 12, 1980 after a short illness.
