Bäkimos, was an architect in the service of Emperor Lalibäla of the Zagwé dynasty, who sent him with two others, ‘Endreyas and Sawel, to assist his nephew Nä’akweto-Lä-‘Ab in the building of a church at Qoghena in Sewa’a near Lalibäla.
