Of Sierra Leone, West Africa. A Colony-born Christian of the Eboe Tribe. At Fourah Bay Institution. 1845, employed as a Catechist. 1856, June 8, deacon, and 1861, December 22, ordained a priest by Bishop of Sierra Leone, and stationed at Gloucester. 1862, transferred to the Native Pastorate; 1864, suspended for three years; 1867, re-engaged; and in 1870 again removed.
