Bokwito, Tom
Tom Bokwito was one of the key interpreters who accompanied Henry Henderson in October 1875, when Henderson arrived with the Livingstonia party to scout for a mission site for the Established Church of Scotland. Bokwito played a crucial role in facilitating communication with local chiefs in the area, contributing significantly to the eventual establishment of the Blantyre Mission.
