Qerelos (Abuna)

Alternate Names: Qérelos
Ancient Christian Church

Qérelos, Abunä (perhaps fl. 7th century A.D.), was a Metropolitan of Ethiopia consecrated by Benjamin, Patriarch of Alexandria 620-665 A.D. This is the first clear indication in Coptic sources of the consecration of an Egyptian Metropolitan to Ethiopia.
